Email Preferences & Newsletter Unsubscribe

Unsubscribe from Emails

You can opt-out of our marketing communications in several ways:

  1. One-Click Unsubscribe

    • Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email
    • Your preferences will be updated immediately
    • You'll receive a confirmation email
  2. Account Settings

    • Log in to your Sepikey account
    • Go to "Email Preferences"
    • Customize your communication preferences
    • Select which types of emails you want to receive
  3. Contact Us Directly

    • Email us at [email protected]
    • Include your registered email address
    • Specify which communications you wish to opt-out from

Account Deletion & Data Removal

Temporary Account Deactivation

If you wish to take a break:

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to "Account Settings"
  • Select "Deactivate Account"
  • Your account will be suspended but data retained

Permanent Account Deletion

To permanently delete your account and data:

  1. Self-Service Option

    • Log in to your account
    • Go to "Account Settings" → "Privacy"
    • Select "Delete My Account"
    • Confirm your decision
    • Receive confirmation email
  2. Request Through Support

    • Visit our Contact Page
    • Submit a deletion request
    • Verify your identity
    • Receive confirmation within 48 hours

What Happens to Your Data

When you delete your account:

  • Personal information is permanently removed
  • Booking history is anonymized
  • Reviews become anonymous
  • Payment information is deleted
  • Data backup copies are removed within 30 days

Data We Must Retain

Some information may be retained for legal requirements:

  • Transaction records (for tax purposes)
  • Booking confirmations
  • Legal correspondence
  • Fraud prevention data

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Active bookings must be completed or cancelled before deletion
  • Reward points and benefits will be forfeited
  • Downloaded invoices should be saved before deletion

Timeline

  • Email preference updates: Immediate
  • Newsletter unsubscribe: Within 24 hours
  • Account deactivation: Immediate
  • Account deletion: Processed within 30 days
  • Data removal confirmation: Sent via email
